Taking 4 bikes to the airport is a logistical challenged solved by the Singapore Bicycle Transport Service! They can carry multiple bikes on their superb racks and charge a reasonable $35 to the airport.
We fit 2 Bromptons, my BikePorter bike boxes and other luggage in the MPV and the two bikes on the rear rack! We arrived at the airport smoothly!
At Changi, I packed the bikes into the boxes and we checked in without a hassle. Our Polish LOT airlines asked us to inform them beforehand that we were carrying bikes and it was all smooth thereafter.
Our Polish airlines flight is saving us a lot of money over direct Lufthansa and Singapore Airlines flights to Munich. The plane is new and nice so far! Europe, here we come!
Well that was until the plane delay which made us miss a flight and which made us miss another flight.( and the other flight was also delayed)
